Halo 5: Guardians REQ System
Back in June, 343 Industries revealed the new Requisition (REQ) System for Halo 5: Guardians. Since then we’ve seen a lot of interest and worry from fans wanting to learn more about this system and how it will affect the game.
So first the basics;
Q:What is REQ?
A: REQ is an unlockable item that comes in the form of weapons, armour, skins, vehicles, assassination animations, and more – These will be referred to as REQ Cards which will vary in type and rarity, REQ Cards offer a massive variety of items including single use items and permanent items (Over 1000 at launch with scope to add in due course) These cards come as part of REQ Packs.
Q: How do I get REQ Packs?
A: REQ Packs contain a wide array of items and are purchased using REQ Points earned in-game during multiplayer matches for most notable actions.

With real-world money… Boom – have we just been informed of the single worst thing to happen to the Halo Universe since the Flood? – please post your comments/opinions.
While players will earn REQ Packs across both Arena and Warzone, only cosmetic items can be used in Arena Multiplayer – this should help keep the balance the game and not go all COD and find yourself the being mercilessly hammered into the ground due to some unfair weapon/vehicle drop.
More details have been posted HERE – Its a very good piece of positive propaganda around the Halo 5: Guardians REQ System Explained In Detail – Including a Video…. which you can also see below

Basically another name for micro transactions… However similar to the concept in Titanfall with the cards you earn.
